The Star of Ice and Snow Pt. 3

Pitch POV


I've seen many stars in my in my immortal lifetime, but the star that I saw being yanked out of the frost spirit had to have been the most beautiful star.  I find it hard to imagine that the hexagon shaped object had once been the core to an even vaster star in the galaxies.  And it was about to be swallowed up by this… monster.

Jack's body had fallen to the floor and began fading back to his original state.  His youthful form before he had fallen into the lake many years ago, except he looked likes death.

The stars on his cloak dimmed within seconds.

I was screaming in rage, (which surprised those guardians) when suddenly the vile creature had engulfed the bright blue star.

What happened afterwards was even more horrid, even for me.

A pale figure with long black hair with piercing ice blue eyes and blue lips appeared from the dark cloak.  She was wearing this thin white dress that was quite translucent and a smile that was devious that it made me sick.  

"Oh no!" the fairy trembled
"It can't be!" the fat man screeched

I know something is wrong when the guardians and I have a common fear.

"Who are you?" the rabbit screamed.

"My name is YukiOnna.  The real Goddess of Winter!" the woman flashed her palm at us as icicles flared from her hand.  They shattered the invisible wall and froze every single one of the guardians.  I managed to bolt out of the way by escaping into my shadows.

"You can't hide in the darkness forever, Pitch Black!"

I watched from the shadows as the snow queen then turned towards the boy, lying unconscious on the floor and stooped down.  "You see my dear child."  She planted a finger upon the cloak and as if it were obeying a master, the stars lit up and the cloak shredded to ribbons as it swirled its way on the woman, giving her a star-studded kimono.  "Winter is a season for death, not for fun."  

Then I saw her pick up Jack's semi-naked body and make a way for the exit out of my lair.

"I'm going to start a real blizzard!"
